Top-quality Calgel allows the natural nail to flourish

I only use top quality nail products for my clients, that’s why I’m a devotee of Calgel (as are my current nail salon visitors). The beauty of this product is that the gel provides a shield to protect your natural nail underneath, allowing it to continue to grow. Because it is permeable, the gel allows moisture to pass through the layers to ensure the natural nail remains healthy. Calgel is perfect for those with splitting or weak nails that struggle to grow naturally. Where additional length is required, tips can be applied. Hard-wearing and flexible, using Calgel means that your new nail covering is unlikely to chip or crack. When you follow the correct, simple aftercare tips, your nails will stay Up 2 Scratch between salon visits.

Yet another bonus of the Calgel system is that it allows you to change to darker colours without removing the existing gel. You can simply apply Calgel’s polish over the lighter colour, at home.

In fact, with Calgel you need only one removal soak every four to six weeks. This means the natural nails are less likely to dry out. It is also why so many of our existing nail clients now view Calgel as very much a long-term solution for their nails.

Remove gel in a few minutes

The Calgel removal process can be done at home or completed at the salon during your nail appointment. Foil is wrapped around a wipe on your fingertip to gently lift the gel from the natural nail. This is far better for your nails and hands than dipping your fingers in a bowl of acetone, or having the nail filed with an electric file as you would with other nail systems or harsher nail products that potentially then damage your natural nails.
